Dutch Baby Recipe and Christmas Sweaters

I learned a very valuable lesson about throwing an Ugly Sweater/Pajama Jam Party in the middle of December in Florida - it will probably be too hot. While a few did adhere to the pajama part, I was the only one to don an "ugly" sweater, I did not find it that ugly though!  Next year I will have some stock cut-off sweaters and vests for my friends.  I loved pouring mimosas with some good people and cutting out sugar cookies.  We served a few recipes from the Chrissy Tiegen's Cravings cookbook, including her scrambled eggs and garlic bacon.  Everything from that cookbook is has been tasty.  Though, the star of the show was her dutch baby!  I have made a few dutch baby recipes, including minis, they always turn out wonderfully!  Similar recipe can be found here.

There is something magical about the way a good Dutch Baby pancake puffs up in the oven as they near being cooked to perfection.  Are they a pancake?  We call them pancakes but they're almost like pancake meets french toast and has a dutch baby.  Whatever they actually are, they are definitely yummy!  Also, if you want a solid sugar cookie recipe don't skip over Savuer's.  I find most of my basic recipes and beyond on this site, plus, they're magazine is swoon worthy.

Check out our dutch baby,  I paired it with a Star Wars sweater.
