Saffran Home | Pineapple Pink Door
I love interior design and playing around with color pallets, patterns and themes. It's safe to say the #loveonlakewinne theme is pineapples, and all things mid-century Palm Beach! My husband is what some may call a do-it-yourself efficianado, so of course when it comes to new doors he wants to do-it-himself.. One thing we have learned of old homes is that doors are not all created equal! There is so much "custom" that comes with a 1953 ranch house that sometimes we don't know what to do with it! That being said he promised me a new front and back door, so I know it's coming but just unsure of when.
So in true wifey fashion, when David was away, I painted the door pink! As a subtle reminder of the promise of a new door. I know ladies, you may steal that trick or just paint your door pink anyways because it is adorable! I went with a classic peachy tone, Raleigh Peach by BM, but maybe I should have amped it up because the hubs actually likes it!
I just love this pineapple knocker from Anthropologie, it's the cherry on top! Now I need to plant some pineapples and banana trees!
