The people at Lowe and Behold are brimming with talent and good vibes! I adored every single moment of this event and was more than honored to photograph and attend. The ideas that swept the showroom included black tie, Pantone color of the year - green, citrus fresh, tuscan wine country, apple green and even steam punk! I am still dreaming about the dripping orchids and poppy peonies, it was a floral dream!

Before I shot any weddings on my own I took the conscience leap and through it out to a few local photographers that I would love to serve and second shoot under them. One of them stuck and I am forever grateful for all the knowledge it brought of a wedding day. I still enjoy second shooting weddings as I get to show up, do the artistic side that I love with and leave without any post-work.
Read MoreMeet Erica and Jeff - two of my dear friends that will be tying the knot next year at the DeLand Historic Courthouse! I love their story and the fact that I was there at the very beginning. Erica and I were attending a vendor event in Orlando at the gorgeous Ballroom at Church Street (seriously check this place out) and meeting our friends the Heck's there with Detail's Flowers. The Heck's were bringing a plus one, Jeff, whom did not like the "artist" type. Cough, Jeff is an artist in denial, cough. Of course, Jeff was mesmerized by the sweetest human ever and fell for Erica...
Read MoreThe wedding day of Sue and Rob can best be summed by the first sentence of the Apache Wedding Blessing that was read during their ceremony. "Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other." Their day was full of showers but their love persevered and the sun shone through the freshly rained on trees and ground - it was perfect. There is something special about right after it rains, the smells are sweeter and the saturations brighter and I know that Sue and Rob will never take for granted those little showered on moments.

I adored Mandy's gorgeous gown with lacy sleeves and intricate detailing plus that soft blush bouquet full of garden roses had my heart all a flutter! See more of this beauty for yourself.
Read MoreBeing in the wedding industry I have had many conversations with clients and other professionals about the B word - budgets. While I am not someone that tells people how or where to spend their money I am totally someone that will tell people to make sure you are spending where YOU want. Lately, I have seen many outdated and stiff, to put it nicely, wedding day budget generators.

I had an incredible time dreaming up this bridal shower inspiration shoot with some amazing and talented vendors and gorgeous models! I mean, macarons and high tea, could you want more? Ok, maybe a little champagne was consumed behind-the-scenes but I'll never tell...
Read MoreSara and Dom's Winter wedding at Casa Feliz was full of the prettiest pops of cranberry color that you ever did see. They prepared for their ceremony and reception at the darling Alfond Inn just a few minutes away. Their first look was full of spins and adoration as Dom glanced at his bride-to-be before their I-do's. Sara's gorgeous gown was a Monique Lhuillier Blush and it fit the day perfectly and was the sweetest shade of bridal blush.
Read MoreMy brand has a few main elements but the one I will harp on in this post is the banana leaf. I grew up the daughter of an architect, but not just any type of architect, a builder of banana ripening rooms. To say we had an abundance of bananas and produce in our home is an understatement. Living in Florida we always had banana trees growing in our landscaping.
